”Spent a night in the cabin with my girlfriend to get away from the city for a night. Location to Rickets Glen State Park is amazing. I highly suggest doing the main waterfall trail there. Takes about 3 hours with moderate difficulty due to a lot of steps and slippery surfaces. The cabin definitely has an authentic rustic feel if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s clear they have done/are doing some construction there. The fire pit is a really nice one, but the beds could use some help. Also...

”We had a lovely stay. Our hosts were in contact with us before and after. Check in was straightforward and easy. Everything was neat and clean when we entered. It felt like home. And we could relax. The property overlooks a lovely pond so it also felt like a retreat. We visited in the heat of summer but the location was very nice and cool. ”

”The property was pretty much as described, very rustic, there is a walk to the waterfall, which wasn’t bad but parts are a little steep so wear decent shoes. ”We had 3 families in the house. The house came with lots of supplies, which is nice. The pond and beach were very nice. We enjoyed all the amenities this house has to offer. Shaded basketball court, playground, baseball field, etc. This property is in a great location. ”

”This place served its purpose and was very cost-efficient for two couples going to the lantern festival and golfing in the Poconos for the weekend. Home was a little outdated and dirty (small bugs, dust, etc) but everything was functioning. There is no A/C so it was a little warm. Kitchen cookware was outdated and no spices, so make sure you bring salt and pepper if you are planning to cook. Shower handle was loose but worked and upstairs sink is slow to drain.”
