”Siisti perushotelli hyvällä paikalla Plakiaksen kivoimpien rantojen lähellä. Saimme perusvarauksesta huolimatta sattumalta hienon ison terassin omaavan huoneen, josta oli upea näköala lahden ylle ja kiva viettää siestaa varjossa. Hotelli ei ole ihan keskustassa, mutta sieltä on varsin lyhyt kävelymatka läheiseen supermarketiin, josta haimme aamupalan, lähellä on myös hyviä ravintoloita. Henkilökunta oli varsin ystävällistä. Auton sai hyvin hotellin parkkipaikalle.”

”Das Hotel Alianthos Beach ist ideal gelegen. Über die Straße kommt man direkt zum Strand. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist abwechslungsreich und lecker. Das Essen im Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr lecker und man sitzt sehr schön unter den Bäumen mit Blick aufs Meer. Kleiner Kritikpunkt: Wir wurden zuerst in einem Zimmer zur Seite ohne Meerblick untergebracht, obwohl wir Meerblick gebucht hatten. Am nächsten Tag konnten wir in ein Zimmer mit sehr schönem Ausblick umziehen. ”

”Small rooms No hot water in the bathroom due to boiler failure, but was taken care of. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Kettle and coffee/tea making facilities in the room would make it more comfortable.”

”Everything was as promised. Rooms were big, clean and nice. The balcony was huge and the kitchen was very useful for family traveling with kids. The staff were helpful and the service was great. The place is ideal for people who want to enjoy the sea and the nature around.”

”This was just perfect place to be! New hotel with beautiful design. Perfect rooms, super nice and quiet pool area. Breakfast is great, served to the rooms at requested time. Located in perfect spot in the heart of plakias. Near by many beautiful beaches worth of visit! Stayed here with my wife, planned to be 7 nights but we didn't want to leave. Luckily we could extend our stay to 10 nights. The whole staff makes this place even more perfect. Everyone is super friendly, helpful & nice. Big...

”Hotellet hadde ikke åpnet for sesongen så vi bodde på hotellet ved siden av, Porto Plakias. Fine, lyse rom med bitteliten balkong. Siden vi var to av fire gjester i hotellet fikk vi servert frokost på brett i resepsjonsområdet. Vi hadde tilgang til basseng og takterrasse, men fikk ikke nyttet dette pga vind. Ved Myrtis hotell var det fint basseng i hagen men vinden var for sterk også her. Vil tro at både Myrtis og Porto Plakias er fine hotell å bo på når det er innenfor sesong. For oss var...

Lovely walks along beach and easy to use public transport options. Good challenging walks from resort. End of season and all hotels and most bars starting to close.”

”Un hôtel en bord de mer, accueil très agréable, personnel à l'écoute, chambre confortable, transats réservés. Petit bémol pour le bruit des femmes de ménage le matin dans le couloir. Niveau restaurant nous avons pris la formule tout compris, petit dej complet même si dommage de ne pas avoir du jus d'orange frais. Le soir les plats sont variés et changent chaque jour. Par contre le midi ce n'est pas au niveau car toujours la même chose . A revoir. Sinon bel endroit ”

”We travel a LOT and this is one if the most charming hotels we've encountered. The staff is incredibly gracious, the hotel is in a great location, its very clean and new, and the breakfast was over the top. I highly recommend it!”

”Definetely not a 4 star boutique hotel which they claim to be - 3 stars accommodation is what you get. Nice seaview from the balcony, easy to park, ok breakfast. Wellcome drink was a nice touch. Many of the rooms are kind of middle of walking paths, ask a room from higher floors. ”

”Olimme pehelomalla, mukana 3 vuotias lapsi. Hotelli on aikuisille suunnattu, lähinnä Saksalaisille. Joka paikassa puhutaan saksaa. Uima-allas on keskellä kuin vesipatsas ja aina täynnä, oltiin ei-sesonki aikana, lasten-allas on eri paikassa. Merelle joutuu alittamaan päätien tunnelin ali, kyyditykset oli luvattu, mutta käytännössä eivät toimineet. Ylimielinen reception, hankala saada kiinni puhelimella, aina varattu. Ruoka oli erityisen hyvää, hotelli on uusi ja puhdas. ”

Lovely hotel by Rethymno city beach

"The room descriptions on the hotel website didn't match Hotels.com. I booked an Economy Room which was listed as a Promo Room on the hotel website and I had the exact same room as my friend who booked Superior Garden View Room. Otherwise everything was great - the hotel is lovely and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the room was really nice. Breakfast buffet has a large selection of sweet and savoury items, hot and cold. Location is great across the street from the beach with about a half an hour walk into the old town. The pool area is also really nice but we spent most of our days at the beach where you get free loungers and can order food and drinks from the hotel restaurant. Staff are lovely and helpful too, altough we did have some miscommunication before arrival as they kept mixing up my booking with my friend's booking even though we booked separately."
