Steam rooms are open to all resort guests. The free breakfast was delicious with iberian ham included. The on site vineyard wine tasting was great too. Nice museum-like display told the history of douro valley vineyards.”

The train station is nearby to get to other cities if you wanted to, otherwise it is quite isolated in this area. Walking over to Quinta do Crasto for a wine tasting & tour was a highlight of the area too! The Quinta offered breakfast, lunch, and dinner which was very convenient. Angela was so helpful in getting us checked in...

”Amazing place! Great buffet breakfast and also an option to have the breakfast on the barrel terrace. The only minus was that I was travelling with a friend and requested to have two separate blankets. There was an extra in the closet but no cover to it. When calling again to ask for the separate blanket we were broaght 4 extra sheets but still no cover to the extra blanket. (The barrels seem to be more for couples travelling but it would be nice if the hotel would accomodate for others as well...
