”Our family of 6 stayed here for a week. We used the house as both a place to relax and as a jumping off point to do other activities in Nova Scotia. We loved it here. We enjoyed numerous outings on Ponhook Lake in the canoes, kayaks and stand up paddleboard provided by the owner. The house is beautiful, clean and very well kept up. ”The surrounding area was scary. Inside cabin was fine accept the step up into the living bedroom space was dangerous. Curtains were needed in the kitchen area. Accessiblity would be an issue for some. Really hard to contact owners and find the cabin. Would not recommend!!”

I only gave 3 on description because the slide that is in every picture is not permitted for use by renters. It would have been nice to know this before they tried to use it,and then they watched the neighbor children use it.Otherwise it is an exceptional beautiful property.”

”The property owner is very nice, but the condition of the outside of the house was surprising. There are several old trailers along the driveway, old lumber, trash and old building supplies. There is one bedroom on the main level and bathroom with the only shower downstairs. Upstairs has three VERY small bedrooms and an usual bathroom with a tub.
