”Nice and clean hotel. Perfect location and walking distance into amble. Decent food when we ate in the hotel on sat night although a few items had run out. Breakfast was buffet style but decent choice. Great place to stay if you have a dog with ground floor rooms with outside access.Mattress very hard but would stay again.”

”Enjoyed a pleasant short stay here as a family. Service in the pub/restaurant/breakfast was prompt and friendly and food was good quality and value. Our room was unexpectedly warm for the time of year, despite radiators being turned-down but there was already a good fan in the room to counter this. We had no issues with noise despite being above the pub. ”

”Stayed here a couple of times and there is a lovely vibe. The rooms are an absolute electric mix of modern and antiques, beds are comfy and there is plenty of space. All rooms are very different so if you want a bath or shower in particular, make sure you check the details. Food in the pub is amazing, staff are very welcoming and the chef accommodated my dietary request without hesitation.”
