”Rooms are for sleeping as staying in them any longer not too appealing. Clean but basic; tired and small. Restaurant was more modern making it a nice place to sit and sample some rather good food. Swimming pool and sauna serves its purpose well. Lounge areas comfortable and inviting; a good place to sit if you can’t bare the bedrooms. Great location for Main Street, shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Also, great location to explore the Cairngorms with an abundance of activities to participate...

”Overall nice hotel. Bedrooms obviously recently refurbished. Look really nice. Huge bathroom. Actual bedroom very small (terrace room) Bed extremely small. Smallest hotel bed we have ever had. Comfortable bed but small. Room far too hot. Unfortuneately unable to open window because we had terrace room could only open patio door which is not then secure. No way of having a partial locking mechanism. Even a chain arrangement. Food very good. But served on cold plates. Not good. Not told about...

”We stayed here for one night with my mum, and our stay was just perfect. The hotel is simply beautiful and has a real castle vibe. The best thing was that the spa was included, which we weren't aware of before arriving. We had nice dinner at the hotel and then enjoyed the rest of the evening in the spa, till it closed. It was truly relaxing stay and on top of that even though I managed to lose my necklace after leaving the spa, when I emailed the hotel later, they had managed to find it and send...

”There is no air conditioning, but the weather was cool in April, so opening the window for a few minutes before bedtime made the room comfortable. Besides A/C the only amenity that was missing was a microwave oven. The room was very nice and quite large, compared to the others we stayed in on this trip.”
