”Shangri-La is not located in the center of Kota Kinabalu but it is surrounded in the beautiful nature and worth staying. We had booked a nice room in the Ocean view part of the hotel. Restaurant called Oceano, had really good food and service and we ended up eating breakfast, lunch and dinner there. Food and staff lead by Charlie took very good care of us and made us feel really welcome. We did daily trips to the wells and canopy walk and if you wanted to stay in the resort you could do horse...

”This is a big international hotel as it is part of Marriot -chain, so nothing local flavour in this hotel if you are looking for it. Many good restaurants nearby and reasonable drive time to the airport. They have also a shuttle service to the beach where the hotel has some 20 sunbeds with shower and wifi. The water at the pool was very cold every day which was quite surprising. Was not that nice.”

”Pictures of the hotel do not tell correct story. They have been expertly done so that the huge parking lot is not visible. But still the view from seaside is amazing when you look over the parking lot and do not get disturbed by landing or taking off planes. On the other hand do not book the room from city view as it is directly to ugly ship yard. Overall the condition of the public wet spaces were below par and very simple and looked used. ”Excellent choice for visiting Mumbai. Juhu is nicely located on the coast and all attractions and parts of the city are easily accessible by road or rail (Vile Parle station). The hotel is at the beach and the comfortable and large pool area offers a view and access to the beach with beautiful sunsets. even if a bit more expensive, the hotel seems to be in its own class in Juhu area. The airport is close but the noise does not disturb. The staff is friendly and did their utmost to make our stay...
