”Great pub food, really friendly staff and clean rooms. Couldn’t recommend Penny Hedge enough. Breakfast was good value for money too. Right beside Whitby Gin if you want to go in for a tour. Walk down into Whitby was easy enough but uphill on the way back! ”

”The apartment was very well fitted out, the staff were lovely very helpful, it is a little far from town and took us a while to find the local supermarket, maybe some instructions on how to work the job and parking was an issue, we went out for the day and had to park quite a walk away, but on the whole we loved it and were very comfortable 😊”

”Decent enough place to stay. Showing it's age in places but overall clean and tidy. Staff were friendly. Easy to check in, and I set off early the following morning - leaving the keys in the box in the hallway. Very convenient for the town centre and seafront if you don't mind a few minutes walk. Variety of restaurants nearby, even before you reach the town centre.”

”Everything was perfect for us , not far to walk to sea front / high street shops , we didn’t have the breakfast at the property as not always early risers , we would definitely stay here again , a lot of places in Scarborough don’t have their own parking or if they do there’s extra charge and with hubby having mobility scooter the parking was essential for us .A big Thankyou to the lovely hosts , keep on doing what your doing , fantastic 👏”
