”This was the perfect spot to stay at the end of a long holiday. We had a beautiful suitte looking over the front gardens. Staff were very friendly and obliging. Restuarant and bar in the property. You need a car to go exploring, but only 5 minutes from Kendal. Would definetely stay there again. ”

”Adequate room, comfortable, great food, loads of parking, unfortunately I left before breakfast and allthough I was offered to use the breakfast room for toaster I think a few more options would have been welcomed. Overall no real issues, young lady behind the bar was very helpful and curteous.”

”Lovely lodge . Perfect for 3 of us for a couple of days . Friends mini break. Only slight problem was it was slightly too warm in the night and the heating ( if that was what it was) was loud when it kept coming on in the night. That is being picky though and it is a beautiful lodge. ”

”Cannot recommend enough. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The whole place was spotless. The attention to detail was amazing from slippers and dressing gowns in the wardrobe to the cool down mat for straighteners (great for the ladies). Had the best nights sleep as the bed was so comfy. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice. ”

”Wow. This property is amazing! We needed somewhere to stop for one night en route to Scotland and we found a gem. The apartment is so spacious and well presented. It’s set in lovely grounds too. Also the communication at the time of booking and in the run up to our stay was excellent. Cannot rate this place highly enough. ”
