”Lovely hotel, the breakfast was great and there are nice walks close by. The hotel bar had a nice atmosphere and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and bar staff all very nice. £30 additional charge for a small dog to stay only 1 night, while the dog was very welcome and accommodated for this seems excessive compared to other hotels. I believe the charge is the same regardless of nights stayed but feel this could be lowered if only staying a single night. There is little...

”We only stayed one night but could easily have stayed for longer. From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly and looked after us attentively. The room had a view of the lake and was comfortable and clean. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent with a good selection, fabulous ingredients, and presentation. Topped off by a stunning location, well worth a stop. It was our wedding anniversary whilst we were there and all the staff were so kind to us. Thank you. ”

”A cosy and nice hotel. Service and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was quite what you would expect, although points to the hotel for having also something else than english breakfast. Weakest coffee we had the entire trip though. The room was great, however the matress was 20cm smaller than should be on the bed. It was also smaller than in the pictures and wasn’t that comfortable. ”

”Overall it was a lovely property. Quiet, clean, very comfortable. Hosts were very accommodating and made us some fridge space. It would have been nice to be instructed a bit more regarding use of outdoor space. There was a key in the door leading to outside, and the door was very difficult to open and would lock on us if closed. Breakfast was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again but would ask more questions at check in!”
