”The Luana Waikiki is a pretty mid range hotel in Waikiki a little off the beaten path. It is a lesser known hotel than some of the other ones but manages to keep some of the old Hawaiian charm without sacrificing comfort and modern amenities. What I really love are the kitchens in the rooms because they are fully equipped just like an apartment or small condo with toaster oven and blender etc so you can do your own cooking, non microwave reheating and feel like you are at home.”

”Rooms were EXTREMELY noisy. The air-to-air heat pump in the window was unbelievably noisy. Also the noise from the street was really loud, you could almost hear people speaking on the street though our room was on the 18th floor…and there was also street work going on (drilling!) all night long.
