”I wanted to stay at Heathrow area within walking distance from terminal 2&3. Beforehand I looked 2 youtube videos how to find Hilton Garden Inn, but still I had to ask 3 times advice from the helpful airport persons. Hotel is old but reasoanbly clean. Breakfast was good, but food could be warmer (add a microwave in buffet area). All in all Hilton Garden Inn works fine as place to stay when you fly late to Heathrow and continue next day.”

”Tavistock Hotel isn’t luxurious and shows signs of its age, but it has a lot of charm. The location is superb, within a walking distance of almost everything. We stayed on the 6th floor and the room was relatively quiet. It could have been bigger though. ”Have stayed in the hotel several times in the past, it is getting more run-down every time and now this was definitely my last time. This time there was an overpowering smell of some cleaning substance throughout the hotel and the bath was leaking water along the floor into the room. Also, there were fire alarms lasting some 5-10 seconds (apparently due to some construction work) on two separate days between 5-7 am. Staff was friendly, but were not able to respond to the complaints in any way....
