”The hotel was great for cleanliness, the room was great for what we needed with a nice touch left for our dog who came with us, the staff were very polite, the food was really good. We had a really lovely weekend, but….. the one downfall, we found was, when they say ‘pet friendly’ really the hotels should provide what facilities cannot be used. We were ‘not’ allowed to use the bar OR the restaurant. We were put into a snug/small lounge area for drinks, so felt very out of it for atmosphere. ...

”Had a lovely 1 night stay at this historic hotel. The interiors are dated but that is part of the charm. The staff were so helpful and friendly, we had an upgrade on our room because hotels.com had overbooked and the staff were very good about it. The room and bed were comfortable, but the kettle was a bit rubbish and not convenient to use (it was connected to the plug which was behind the television) The breakfast was pretty average, not the best but you had enough options. ”The Hut Sea Front Inn has a very convenient location. It is close to the Ferry Terminal and a short walk to Newry Beach as well as the Maritime Museum. There are also a number of good restaurants nearby. The Rueben makes a fabulous Reuben bagel & very good coffee. If you do take-out the Sea Hut has a common lounge area, complete with dishware, that opens at 6 pm. The common lounge is very nicely set up as a relaxing place where people can eat or sit & read. There are plenty of books to choose...
