”Great one night stay at Hotel Mato. Traditional old Greek house where the lady owner was so helpful and friendly. We had a room at the top of the house (up a spiral staircase) which had a spacious balcony with amazing views of the port. Lovely traditional Greek breakfast. The location is fantastic for Skiathos old town and the ferry port. Would recommend (as long as you like cats - she has tons them! ) ”

”Perfect in every way. The accomodation was in a perfect location, opposite the small road to Troulos beach and with a supermarket and bus stop 20 on its doorstep. It was spotlessly clean, modern and airy with everything you could wish for. The owner, manager and house maid were amazing, so friendly, accommodating and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again. ”

”Amazing see view, nice terrace, friendly owners very peaceful atmosphere. NO parking, no breakfast, room service once per week, average WiFi quality, be prepared for daily climbing to reach the car ( like 700m away). During season you need to get up early to find a place on the beach. Best option will be to leave the car on public parking and rent a motorcycle or ATV. Advice is to contact the owner to pick you up - not easy to find a place . ”

”I absolutely loved my stay here. Apart from the views from my room and the efficiency of the organisation, what I most loved what how friendly, attentive and down-to-earth the staff were, especially the owner, whose name I sadly didn’t get (Denise?!). I generally don’t give reviews for this kind of thing, but I’m making an exception here because it was such a positive experience. ”
