”LOVE that it is right on the river! Nice walking path along the whole riverfront. Very small, quiet, post card like town! Few places to eat in just a minute walk. View at night of the Penobscot Bridge is beautiful. Sunrise shines up Fort Knox in the morning! So peaceful. The woman that was at the front desk when we arrived was very friendly and welcoming! ”

”We were very comfortable staying at the Camden Riverside Hotel. The place was clean and had a very cozy feel about it. We slept well and enjoyed our sunrise view and breakfast in the morning. ”Booked this hotel out of necessity because we wanted to do the bioluminescence tour in Castine (also highly recommend) and the Bucksport Inn just happened to be conveniently located. So glad we did! First, the service was exceptional. They called us the morning of our reservation to inform us that the TV in our room was broken, but to offer a different type of room (2 queens vs a king). ”It is a great place to stay. We love retro spaces and this is great! Lots of space, nice amenities and great views. Also a great outdoor area with a fire! Apparently they have a clientele that returns year after year because they all knew each other. We would go back any time. ”

”Four days on coastal Maine. Chose Camden area so we had easy access to Arcadia National Park ( two hours to the north) and easy day trip to Boothbay area( two hours to the south) and there is plenty to do in Camden or take a trip over to Portland. ”

”We only stayed for one night. Basically just slept and showered in the morning so I can not speak on how well stocked the kitchen is. However, there were plenty of pillows, blankets, and towels. Beautiful views, no trouble finding the location and the house was very clean. ”
