”This resort was definitely a hidden gem. It was hard to find but once we got there I was amazed with the room I reserved and how close the beach was. We had a 2bdrm upstairs unit with a huge balcony overlooking the water. The inside was clean and had great amenities. But the patio was a bit dirty. ”Had a very pleasurable and relaxing experience with this trip. I will definitely come back. If you’re a foreigner and want to experience the local fishing village as well as mingle them, this is the place. It’s so quiet and yet engaging. This is not a 5 star accommodation but a 5 star experience for me. The manager (Beth) was most accommodating and I hired her husband (Mar) to drive us around with his tricycle. My family and I were disappointed to see the flood right in front of the unit. We arrived at past 4pm and we could have spent the rest of the day roaming around Alaminos.. But instead, we chose to stay in the house because of the flood outside.. The owner, though was very helpful in giving us tips although we havent had the chance to meet.”
