”Grandhotel Giessbach is one of a kind hotel, we really enjoyed historical and authentic athmosphere in the hotel. The service was very good and views, nature, details and beautifully restored building with art and historical stories make this hotel unforgettable.”

”We travelled with 3 Golden Retrievers and hotel offer us bigger apartment which was very nice. The breakfast and dinner were so good. Also very good coffee which is very important issue! The staff was great, very good sense of humor and very good customer service. The location was just perfect. Very quiet place. Greetings to staff for great experience with food and service. ”

”Our room was exceptionally clean. The breakfast staff were awesome. The breakfast was great, and the atmosphere was cute and quaint. We loved our entire stay here. It was a good jumping off point for our excursions. There might be slightly better locations, but this was perfect for us.”

”Wow such a stunning location right on lake Luzern. We had lakefront room with balcony. Beautiful location about 15 minutes drive outside of downtown Luzern. It was too cold to use the pool but they have a nice relaxing wellness center with sauna. They have an outdoor hot tub but apparently you had to reserve in advance (which was not explained when we made reservation) so unfortunately we were not able to use. ”We enjoyed our stay very much! The place is very clean and tidy. The Neighborhood is very quiet and beautiful. It’s 2 minutes walk to the Cogwheel station. The living room has partial lake view. ”

”It was beautiful hotel. It does not have AC so got really hot in room. They provided a fan. We tried the restaurant it was good. Service is not the best but views are amazing. I loved it, it’s away from the noise but area is not as nice on the other side of the hotel.”

”The lobby looked nice and maintained but the rooms are very outdated and honestly a little run down. There is peeling drywall, holes in paintings, dirty fabric and carpet. The bed itself seemed clean, staff were great and junior suite views were amazing! The rating is for these mainly. I only stayed 1 night, but if I were staying longer I would have some regret. I wouldn't book again.”

”Good hotel in the middle of things in Luzern. Was there just for one night for business, but everything went really well. Clean, bed was comfy, check in and out fast. It was a nice touch that the mini bar was included in the room price. There was a selection of soft drinks. Would stay again!”
